When I throw a party I like the food to be the focal point and the bulk of what would be considered decoration. For my daughters second birthday I found this to be a blast! Of course at two Elmo is a big part of her daily conversation so it was a no brainier that he would also be the focal point/theme for her soiree.
The menu was as follows:
Fruit Tray
Goldfish (Elmo loves his fish!)
Turkey Burger Lasagna
Sausage Lasagna
Mac’n'Cheese
White on White Sheet Cake
Yellow with White Round Cake
Here of some pictures of the Elmo creations made. A big thank you to my mom who made all those round pieces of watermelon for the fruit tray and also for cooking up those delicious lasagnas!

A sheet cake with Elmo’s face and a round cake with Dorothy (Elmo’s pet fish). I used the Cupcake Decorator Tool Kit from Avon.

What a fun theme!! The fruit tray is awesome! I have many favorites, but the last one I did was a monkey party. The kids loved it! Stop by my blog if you get a chance– I posted a few of my theme parties.
